Black History Month (February)

National Golden Retriever Day (February 3rd)
Golden Retriever Day is a day dedicated to celebrating the popular dog breed, the Golden Retriever. It's a day for Golden Retriever enthusiasts and owners to share their love for these friendly and loyal dogs.
Lunar New Year (February 10th)
Also known as the Spring Festival or Chinese New Year, Lunar New Year marks the beginning of the lunar calendar and is widely celebrated in many East Asian countries. Festivities typically include family gatherings, feasts, dragon and lion dances, and the giving of red envelopes (hongbao) for good luck.
International Day of Women in Science (February 11th)

Leap Day (February 29th)
Leap Day, in general, occurs every four years to help synchronize the calendar year with the astronomical year. The additional day, February 29th, is added to ensure that the calendar year is approximately 365.25 days long, compensating for the fact that the Earth's orbit around the sun takes about 365.242 days.
